Another Resolution...

So, I am resolving to not meta-cast on the actual show. I am going to refrain from any non-entertaining discussion about the making of the show on said show. I will, however place my meta-casting thoughts on the blog here. So here we go.

First off, to all the listeners... thank you. You have been better than I could have ever imagined. Though only a fraction of our listener base participates with us, I would not trade them for anyone. The people that haven't called, wrote or posted, we love you too. Not everyone wants to be part of the show, I understand that and I appreciate that. Just keep listening. We see that you download.

Speaking of downloads, we have done nothing but grown. For a show that's only promotion is through word of mouth and a couple of promo's on one other podcast, the growth has been shocking. We have slowly been creeping towards 200 downloads in a month and January might be the month that we crack that nut. To give you guys an idea of the growth, we went from two total downloads in July to 180 in December. That's a 9000% increase with very little work done in the way of promotion. So, go us.

Speaking of promotion, I have actually been toying around with the idea of buying some ad space on some of our favourite webcomics. Also, anyone that has any idea of some fun ways to promote the show (free would be best), drop us a line.

We finally got Nate on the show with us and I have to say I enjoyed it. I'm hoping that it will be the first of many appearances by him and our other friends. Hopefully will we also be able to get some interviews going this year. The year is young...

Oh, and finally... Fuck Microsoft. More to come from that later.
