Sorry folks, there will be no new episode of KBP this weekend. Frankly, both of us are very busy this weekend. This is compounded by the fact that Ryan is having some issues with his internet. Between the two things it just looks like this week isn't meant to be. The good news is that this gives you more time to give us your feedback!
Next week we will be tackling movie adaptations. So let us know how you feel about them! In general do you like them or hate them? Do you like them to be as close to the source material as possible? What are some examples of good ones? How about bad ones? What source material seems to adapt better (i.e. Books, Comics, Video Games)?
As always you can email us, call us or tweet. Just hit the contact link up at the top of the page!

Episode announcement & super sexy music time!
This week we will have part one of our two part episode featuring Ed Siemienkowicz of Voice of the Republic. The original intent was to have a Lost wrap up show, but we just recorded way too much content. We started at 7pm and didn't finish till midnight. So now you're getting two show and the Lost talk will follow next with part 2 that will be coming next week! So prepare to put it in your ears!
Till then, enjoy long time friend of the show Jamie Douglas with his band The Powergoats playing live at Irene's Pub in downtown Ottawa!

The Plan
Just a little bit of info for you listeners;
Firstly, in case you missed it during our last episode, there will be no episode this week. For a couple different reasons we decided to take a week off. We honestly forgot it was Easter this weekend until we were actually recording last week's show. We had originally planned on recording another guest host segment, but everyone involved agreed that it would be better to just put it off that way we didn't have to plan around multiple family dinners and what not. Don't worry, we're not disappearing again, just taking some time off.
Secondly, next week's show will be our Kick-Ass preview show. With the movie set to release on the 16th, we'll take a few minutes to tell you why it should matter and maybe get you some early reviews from friends of the show!
Stay tuned!

New site design!
We have been talking about the new site design for a week or so and it has finally arrived. Not all the links work yet and some of them lead to incomplete pages, but I felt it was better to get this relaunch done sooner rather than later.
So I hope you like it as much as I do. Enjoy. There might also be a power up or two hidden if you look close enough.

Please don't mind the dust...
You might have already noticed a few changes to the website. An example is the link buttons now below the logo on the top of the page. These are all things being tested for a brand new website that will be launching shortly. With this new website we're going to have a brand new logo and a new layout. Most the things you might notice between now and then aren't anything permanent, so please bare with us as we prepare for these changes.
I personally am hoping that along with this new site, there will be much more new original content coming. So stay tuned and see what's next...

Kneel Before Reruns
As I mentioned in the latest episode of Kneel Before Pod, I want to start a group. Together we pick a show that is easily accessible (Netflix, Hulu) and watch one episode a week. The following week, we discuss the episode on the forums and maybe even a little on the show. At the end of the show's season, we do a wrap up show that gets some of you readers and listeners involved.
This thing won't work without participation from you. So click here to head on over to the forums and give us your feedback. It's free to sign up and we'd love for you to join us. You don't need to listen to the show to take part in this fun experience! Just watch the episode and stop by the forums to talk about it. So tell your friends! The more people, the more fun!
DO IT!

So, it's now 2009
A new year is upon us and I couldn't be happier. 2008 was a terrible year. It was filled with stuff and unhappiness.
Wait... what? It's 2010? Says who? Shit... I missed a year.
Let me start over...
So, a new year is upon us and I couldn't be happier. 2009 was a terrible year. The entire world got poor and our planet almost got foreclosed on. I know those bastard neighbors on Mars were eye balling our place. I would see them drive by really slow and get green over our swimming pool. Or maybe they were already green. Frankly, I'm not sure.
Then we all lost our jobs, Jersey Shore premiered on MTV, Transformers 2 actually got released, Lady Gaga continued to make music videos that may or may not be filled with really stupid symbolism, and tea bagging became a mainstream term much to the delight of those of use that know what it really means. Sure, there were a couple bright points to this year, but as I like to say, it was like diving into a porta-john for diamonds.
I would be lying if I said I wasn't ready for 2010. For maybe one of the first times in my life, a new year actually feels like I can make a change. Like I can turn my own personal fortunes around and maybe the world can start to get a little better. I'm not sure, but I can hope.
One thing that I am really hoping for is that Ryan & myself can actually get the show rolling again. With so many things going on from car problems to inconsistent internet stolen from a neighbor's wifi, it's been nearly impossible for to record on any regular basis. Even when we did find ourselves able to record, there would be some strange technical issue such as a corrupted data file that would prevent me from properly exporting and uploading the show.
With the new year, we're hoping to actually get the show rolling in true KBP fashion. So keep listening and we'll keep recording.

Holy Crap for Crap!
A 2009 wrap up episode has been recorded! I will be mixing it and it should be up before Wednesday I reckon. In this episode, we go over some of our favorite and least favorite things in 2009.
Other news, I also was able to retrieve a previously corrupted episode that was recorded a few months ago, so there is more content in the pipes! We are planning on going back to a regular schedule early in 2010 now that certain circumstances will now allow us to record.
Hope you had a wonderful holiday season!

Update!
I recently made some slight changes to our website, including adding a little retro feeling banner. Feel free to leave comments here on what you think. More or less the same old, just a little cleaned up and some color changes.
Also, there is a new episode on the way. It has been recorded and mixed, just giving the last episode a couple days to stew before I upload the next one. Ryan and I both feel we have been letting you guys down as far as content, so we are aiming to fix that. So keep an eye out for more consistent show postings and maybe some extras as a little bit of a "We're sorry we're bad hosts."
So, I want to thank everyone that has stuck it out. Thank you to all the people that have sent us feedback that we haven't yet responded to. Thank you to the people that still recommend us to friends despite our recent laze. Thank you are dearest listeners and readers.

New Episode
We did record a new episode this past weekend, but do to a technical issue, we haven't been able to post it yet. If we don't get it uploaded before the weekend, it might just be a double show this week.

We're back up and running folks! Expect a new episode posted by the end of the day.

Sorry...
It appears that someone thinks they're cute and hacked our site. They're not fooling anyone with their generic text to speech.
Hopefully we will get this all worked out soon. Sorry guys.

ATTENTION MEATBAGS!
This is a very important message from Kneel Before Pod.
There will not be a show this week.
Trust me, you are not missing out on anything.
Please continue to light each other on fire, blow flatulence on each other, cry about movies and kick each other in the genitals for www.youtube.com. It pleases me to see you hurt each other.

No show this week
So, you might have noticed there wasn't a show put up this week. Many things have gone into this, but the main one is that I am currently moving into a new apartment. Unfortunately, I have spent nearly a week getting it clean enough to live in, so we had to cancel this week's show. We have no plans of skipping next week's show, so stay tuned.
In the mean time, enjoy some original content.

In this episode, we make a couple important announcements, talk a little about Jonathan Coulton's new concert DVD and answer that age old question... "Is the book of 'Love' written in binary?"

We've been busy.
So, I noticed the past few days that people have been posting a lot in the blog. Not just a comment, but almost as if discussions was trying to bud but couldn't due to the overall shitty comment system on the blog. (Sorry blogspot, I love everything about this site EXCEPT the comment system.)
With that in mind, ladies and gentlemen... I give you...

That's right. A forum. I made this forum months ago when we started the show and have been sitting on it ever since. So, go ahead and sign up! If you find any issues, email us, comment here or send me a PM at the forum.
Love, hugs, kisses and Christmas fishes,
Carl

Sad News.
It is my sad duty to announce a huge loss to internet culture. Today, one of our most beloved was murdered. Killed in cold blood. Sadly, it was done in public and no one did a thing to stop it. Not a single person stood up and said "Stop! This is wrong!" People didn't even bother to put down their video recording devices long enough to help. I warn you, the following video might be disturbing to those people with weak stomachs...
